It still makes the raunchy noises that side-exhaust Vipers did from 1991 to 1996.Ģ003 Dodge Viper is available as one model, the SRT-10 roadster. But the Viper has not been transformed into a sissy: Dodge says it tuned this car for the guy who likes to rip huge pieces of pavement out as he goes around a corner. Improvements to the low-volume sportscar didn’t stop there: The new Viper is more aerodynamic, more refined, quieter, quicker, and better handling than the original, which went on sale in December 1991. The new one should do it in 13.2 seconds. The previous Viper made the round trip in 14.5 seconds.

And then 2) getting back down to 0 mph even faster. I'm also getting new wheels and tires tomorrow hoping this might help a little dropping down to 32x11.Two goals drove the 2003 Dodge Viper to its numerical bragging rights of 500 horsepower, 500 pounds-feet of torque and 505 cubic inches of engine displacement: 1) Getting to 100 mph as fast as possible. I'm gonna take it to some lift guys here in town and try and get to the bottom of it i love driving the xj but kinda hate feeling like I'm wrestling this beast down the street. Seems like the more new stuff I add the worse off it is WTF! I've had the xj aligned twice and it seems to be ok In that dept it just kinda does the dw occasionally and I'm guessing what you would call bump steer issues like I'll be going straight then the xj will kinda do it's on thing like drift over and feels like the steering is off but then it will start driving decent. I've replaced sway bar bushings track bar bushings and added new qr sway bar links. On the topic of pitman arms do I need a longer drop pitman arm on my xj? It has 4.5" lift with stock pitman arm and drives kinda like ass.
